Over my 35 years in photography, I’ve had the good fortune to meet scores of passionate artists working to create imagery as well as those in the business of exhibiting contemporary photographers as well as the pioneers in the world of fine photography. The first in a series of Power of Process interviews is with Jack Holowitz, a mentor to many in the portrait photography world. Jack is not only a good friend and traveling partner but my mentor in my own Black and White photography. The behind the scenes video production by Peter J Dylag is every bit an art form as what is seen on camera.

Dick Robertson recommended you
A delightful interview and Jack’s Springfield Retrospective provided the perfect setting. The diversity of images made the discussion of exposing and developing film to get both the shadow and highlight details placed in the negative in such a way that there will be detail in the final print was particularly rewarding. It showed how Jack’s mind works when confronted with a subject. You could hear the wheels turning.
Thank you Ken, we are pleased with the whole interview !!
