My Power of Process Premium Video series is now available
My 5 components of my Process in order are, Light & Composition > Exposure & Negative Design > Pyro Processing & Extreme Minimal Agitation > Split Contrast Printing & Multi-Contrast Papers > Split Toning for Color & Archival Permanence. Each filmed in 1080 Hi-Definition averaging 85 minutes per video. Each video is broken into smaller segments for easier content viewing. Graphics are overlaid so constant starting and stopping to process what I’ve said is not necessary. We go on location to film various lighting and contrast scenarios, off-camera microphones are used so never a problem hearing the audio. Interior locations are professionally lit with multiple lights and the use of high definition Jpegs providing a clearer understanding of techniques I am illustrating. Videos are downloadable to your computer or mobile device for continual review and access. Go directly to my Digital Download page here: Power of Process
The video series is designed to be viewed in a sequential format and is packaged as a complete set of 5 or in a more core oriented series known as the Process Super Trifecta of videos # 2, 3 and 4. With each of those packaged Video sets are 3 additional Bonus Videos with pertinent information to those core 3 videos. Bonus Videos are not available anywhere else but in the aforementioned packages. One of the Bonus videos details a Split Contrast printing technique that I perfected which I have never heard spoke about in the Silver Gelatin community.
A detailed explanation of my Negative Design, Extreme Minimal Agitation with PyroCat HD chemistry is complete with times, dilutions, agitation techniques, development schemes from N-2 thru N+4 are included in PDF’s. Consider this quote from Mentorship student John Thacker after completing only the Lighting & Composition segment of my Process… “The weekly meetings and work critiques are fantastic and worth the price alone! I consider myself a fairly experienced photographer and I was totally surprised at how much I had learned in the first 3 months. Steve brings his considerable talent to bear with an easy and comfortable manner, always encouraging and building a sound foundation in each step of his process.”
Ricardo Maydana from South America writes, “Since I’ve started the program every day a stone is advanced, a small step, the sum of them all is wonderful. Today I see the Light and the Composition from another point, a take that I never left my confinement, my zone of comfort.”
There is a Holiday 15 % discount in effect through Dec. 10th which also extends to my Mentorship Program of either 6 or 12 months of weekly assignments via Skype or FaceTime. Email support from me on any product with a guaranteed response in 24 hours is also included for life.
Mentorship Programs start promptly on Jan. 1, 2018. Time commitments only allow me to accept 2 new Mentorship students for the January 1st subscription period. Several overseas Mentorees will graciously accept direct emails from anyone seeking a critique on my Mentorship Program and teaching style, please inquire for those email addresses if so inclined.
